Hi,

I'm having a problem with saving images from the Internet
in Internet Explorer. Everytime I try to save an image,
the only format I can save it as is a Bitmap, nothig else.
It's been like this for a few weeks now and I just can't
seem to combat it. I use I.E. 6 and am running on Win 98
Second Edition. I had this problem once before and solved
it by emptying my Temporary Internet Files, but it hasn't
worked this time. I've even tried getting rid of every
other bitmap in My Documnets, but that has ceased to work
as well.

Please, if anyone can offer me a logical solution to this,
I would be eternally grateful!!

This happens when you temporary internet files folder is full. Delete the
internet temp files, and you should be able to see other options to save.

Paul,
You may need to clear your TIF as you may have a corrupt file there.

Close all instances of OE and IE
Control Panel | Internet Options | General tab
Click the "Delete Files" button, when prompted place a check in:
"Delete all offline content", click OK
Click the "Clear History" button, click OK.
Click the Settings button, adjust the TIF size to 50 mb, click OK
