Saving form data

Steve Wylie

We have designed a form on our intranet that is quite
long. It's all on one page (don't ask). If someone is
part-way through completing the form, is there any way
they can Save the page, form or data that they have typed
in so far so they can resume later? Save As only saves
the page, but not the completed form data.

Not unless you program one.

You either need to save the data into a cookie on the PC and then call
that information back from a cookie when they return (not that
difficult I don't think), OR

You need to let them submit partially complete information and then
recall it at a later stage to modify it...
