R Ramesh [MS-MVP] Oct 10, 2003 #3 To get the download dialog box, enable the "confirm open after download" option for that filetype: Click "Start" -> "Program Files" -> "Windows Explorer". Then click "Tools" -> "Folder Options". Change to the "File Type" tabs. Scroll down to locate the file type. Highlight the filetype (example :"PPT Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation") and click the "Advanced" button. Then check the option "confirm open after download". Also, set the "NoSelectDownloadDir" to "0" http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/442/ -- Regards, Ramesh [MS-MVP] AIM: SRamesh2k ~ Please reply to newsgroup ~ When I go to download a file it doesnt give me the option anymore to save it, It just starts downloading? what did I do?
