Saving Files

When saving files form the Internet _ Attachmenst or Downloads - I have
noticed that the file saves in the directory I point it too - THEN
AUTOMATICALLY DELETS ITSELF

HELP

Hi Joe,
Did you clean up lately (i.e. disk clean up, scan for malwares, virus
scan.etc..)
Try to do this and run the chkdsk.exe or chkdsk /f and reboot and see if any
improvement or it could be the file corrupt from the server! try another
download to be sure.

Yes I have Run Virus Scan - MacAfee Spy Bot and run chkdsk still not working

Also it doenst matter what i try tto save except AOL Mail at the Mo

I realy run out of solutions on this, but you can back up your data and do a
clean Install for your Operating System.

Nas thanks for all your Help - I was trying to avoid a clean install - Ifact
now ive loaded SP2 ( and this problem only started after SP2) - as i run set
up i get a warning that the XP on your machine is new than the disc set will
exit

Any way cheers mate
