Hello. If someone saved a doc to the Content.IE5 folder under their profile,
how can they get to the doc? In other words, if I opened a doc attachment
from a Hotmail account and saved changes, where does the file save to? And,
how can I get to the file again? Thanks.

It's probably really buried in byzantine layers of folders. If they open it
and start the "save as" feature, you can see the path.

Better to have them open it and "save as" in a more normal place that both
of you know.

Here's the file location: Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5. I saved a doc from my Hotmail account and this was the
same file location I was given. However, when I try to locate the
Content.IE5, it's no where to be found. I tried doing a search on the folder
and couldn't locate it. Any idea where that specific folder is hidden?
Thanks again.

C:\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Local Settings\Temporary
Internet Files\Content.IE5

Did you enable display of hidden and system files and folders in Windows
Explorer or My Computer?
