Saving and Restoring File Shares

We have a windows 2000 file server which has all our data shares. We want
to rebuild this server bu do not want to spend time recreating the shares.
Is there any way we can save the shares on the existing installation and
then restore them on the new installation. Is there anything to do with
saving any registry keys. Thanks

Just save the HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\Shares
key.
