savedump

On boot up i get a message "savedump.exe failed to initialize". How do i get
savedump to properly initialize?
 
start/run, type: SYSDM.CPL

Advanced tab, startup and recovery area, settings button.

Remove the checks from the memory dump and reset the log file.

Restart, and re-enable memory dump setting as you want them.

I followed your instructions but I'm still getting the "savedump failed to
properly initialize" error. I also get the same error if i try to run
"drwtsn32". Do you think these errors are related?
 
I don't know. Drwtsn32.log is the file that should be created. It may exist,
and have info on that.
