Save the size of the open dialog in windows?

Is there a tool to save the size and other settings such as viewing
options for the open dialog in windows? I like it to remain big and
always sorted by name in groups, but everytime I do this I find windows
defaults to a small window dialog and some other viewing options.
Thanks.

There was a app that did what you asked but I can't remember it's name.
