save protection

I have saved my workbook as a template so it won't be saved ove
accidentally, however I would still like the added protection o
needing a password to save over it. I tried using the password t
modify but it didn't work. any help

Hi
this password won't help you. It is used when you try to open the file.

If you need more security you have to do this on the Operating System
level
