save picture as extensions

Why am I only given the choice of .bmp & .art extensions
when I try to"save picture as" from the internet?

Because you have AOL installed.

Go to the WWW options within AOL, and UNCHECK the Use Compressed Graphics
option.

Now you'll have the option of saving as JPG back again... until your
Temporary Internet Files fills up and then it's

I assume that you are using aol. I have found that if you
minimize aol and then use internet explorer this will
help with the problem. Only thing is, you have to have
both open so don't close aol.
