Unfortunately, you will have to download them all over again. For the
next time, you can go to Windows Update and the link to WU Catalog on
the left side of the page. That will take you to where you can download
all updates in full and burn them to a cd-r.
Norton is a bit of a pain. after you install it (i use NSW2003) you will
have to restart, then give them your registration info, do a quick update,
restart, do another live update, then restart and after that its done and
you are all up to date. If there is a way to archive defentions I would
also like to know but it seams as though if you have dialup youll be
downloading for a LONG TIME, (I downloaded the FULL sp1 to cd (not the sp1a)
and did the same for Direct X and Media Player. to save time online) the
rest of the critical updates only addup to about 18mb.) be sure to enable
to ICF "BEFORE GOING ONLINE!" it only takes a moment to be volnurable.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Do you know if that is the same for Norton
Unless you saved them at the time, they will have gone. You can save
the downloaded .exe files out of the Temp Internet Files folder,
provided you do it before that gets emptied in the regular way.
you will be pretty well up to date as of the beginning of June
