Save button non-responsive

I can't save anything in Word 2003. I can open, create, edit, format
everything EXCEPT Save. No Save, No ? Save As and if i try to close it and
click Save it also won't work. It just started today, never had any issue
with Word before. Any suggestions??

It could be a macro intercepting the Save and Save As commands. If you start
Word in Safe mode (hold Ctrl as you start the application), do you still see
the issue?
