Save book as CSV

I have 1 sheet in the workbook. I want to save this as a
CSV file. I save it and when I try to open it it gives me
the error - SYLX - File format is not valid. I can open
it in the notepad and it has separated the data with
commas.

I need to understand the error and how to prevent it.
