Save autotext in a template

How do I save autotext in a template other than Normal.dot? I have tried and
it doesn't work.
If I save the autotext in a separate template that can be accessed by other
computers in a peer to peer network, will the other users be able to use that
autotext?

You save it to another template using the AutoText dialog (hidden in
AutoCorrect Options under the Tools menu in Word 2003). You designate the
template in which you want to save it. See
http://addbalance.com/word/movetotemplate.htm for step-by-step instructions
on moving / sharing / copying / backing-up customizations including
AutoText, AutoCorrect, keyboard assignments, toolbars, macros, etc.
