When I am doing a save as from my outlook it defaults to C:\somewhere

Is this defaultsetting able to change?

Mariah,

Changing the default location for Outlook seems to be a registry change.

While you can change it, it changes it for all apps that use the my
documents folder. You can add your preferred location(s) to the places bar
to make them one click away.

While you can change it, it changes it for all apps that use the my
documents folder.

Um, I didn't think so. This is true if you wish to change the location
Outlook examines when you wish to attach a file (since you're actually
changing the My Documents folder), but I thought where it saves things is a
different location than that, although it defaults to My Documents.

I believe so, but it uses "10.0" in the key path instead of "11.0"

I tested in both environment but the DefaultPath is just a 2003 feature.
