"Save As" Outlook Template/Outlook 2003

I'm able to create a template (for out of office reply), according to the
guidlines for creatiing a rule in Outlook 2003, but I can't save it.

When I get to the point to "Save As" there is NO option to save as an
"Outlook Template". It gives all the other "Word Doc..." options, etc.

What to do??
 
Turn off Word as your editor before opening the item you want to save as a
template.
