Save as Message Rules...Oh the Pain!

Does anyone know how to use message rules in Outlook 2003
to do a "save as" on a message?

I want to export a message if it meets certain criteria.
I'm sure I could do it with Outlook 6. What do I need to
do? Does anyone have a script that will work?
 
It could be done with VBA code, but you haven't said what format you want to
use to save the message or where you want to save it or how you have to
handle messages with duplicate file names.
