If you're still using adaptive menus, it could just be that you haven't used
it recently. If that's the case, you might want to go to Tools | Customize |
Options and clear the box for "Menus show recently used items first" (Word
2000) or check the box for "Always show full menus" (Word 2002).
If that's not the reason, you can add it back by finding Save As in the
commands list for the File category (Commands tab of Tools | Customize) and
dragging it to the File menu.
