You can scan the document and save it as a pdf as long as you have the
proper software. Then you can create a hyperlink field in an Access table
that will point to the location of this pdf file. Be aware that the user
must have this location 'mapped' on his own computer. Example: you set the
hyperlink to map to a drive on your own computer that points to the server,
your drive letter is E:\. Another user opens the database and goes to click
on this link. Viola! they don't have the same mapped drive letter to the
server, they used G:\ What do you do? Make sure that you point the link
directly to the server. Example: \\servername\pdffolder\pdffilename
