Saudi Arabic has overtaken my English! Bug?

Carl E. Snyder

Using Word 2002. Normal formatting indicates that my complex language
setting is Times New Roman Arabic Saudi Arabia.

Under 'Format' -> 'Font' the word "Sample" has Arabic characters next
to it, and also in my styles and formatting task pane.

I checked Start Menu->Programs -> Microsoft Office Tools -> Microsoft
Office Language Tools. The only language that is selected there is
English.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi Carl,

You don't mention which version of Windows you're using, but I'd check
whether a right-to-left (Arabic) IME has been installed. (Note: I can't
help you with how you do that because I don't know.)
