SATA Raid Controller and Adaptec SCSI Controller

Hi.

I read somewhere that a SATA Raid controller conflicts with Adaptec SCSI
controllers. I am having a problem with something like that...

I have an Intel D945GNT Motherboard with a SATA RAID Controller and I have
an ADAPTEC AIC-7850 PCI SCSI Controller I use to manage my old HP Scanner.
