SATA on a KT600

could I use this in a non RAID fashion, such as two seperate HD. When I set
my boot to cd - scsi - hd - floppy it loads ad then tells me that it can not
find a windows xp partitioned drive available (I am using 2 WD 200 SATA
drives with jumpers attached as factory) I would really like to use this
function to use the ata as 4 dvd + - R drives. HELP PLEASE!

on A7N at first I had 2 Sata's...1 boot..1 storage..now am running a dual
boot...one on RAID..one on IDE..so have ran it all ways. Non RAID and
RAID..so I would say yes...did you check the manual or the Asus fact section
of website?
