SATA HDD question

how about any other configuration to be done that is different from IDE hdd
installation.Well my system works fine but just a little slow in
performance, was suspecting if it was cause by the SATA hdd.

Depends on the physical drive. Nothing in SATA does miracles with a HD that is
inherently slow...
