SATA hard drives and XP

when iinstall windows xp to my new SATA hard drive have
missing files and error in intialising blue screen and
are unable to hit F6 to add drivers help

Hi,

From a Newsgroup ...

Got it working heres how it works. XP hates getting
drivers off cd when u start install from dos using
WINNT.EXE, so you have to copy the drivers from their
location(cd in this case) and put them onto a disk, then
press F6 during the set up and tell it to find the drivers
on the disk
