sata hard drive doesnt work?

Hi

I have 2 seagate 120GB SATA hard drives. The primary drive
(the one with xp pro installed) work perfect. The second
drive causes a "write delay failed" error, it also will not
allow me to transfer files to it or format the drive from
within windows saying the divice is not ready. The drive
does appear in device manager and my computer.

Any ideas?? I need to use the other hard drive.

Did you set them up for RAID (control I when boot up
starts, it should show on screen right after cmos boot
starts.

Replace the drive under warranty..
