SATA Drive space

I have a 120 GB SATA hdd, on my computer it shows that i
have 111 GB of HDD, when i run windows partition manager
through the OS cd it shows that i have 114 GB of HDD and
31 MB is as FAT 32 and the rest if under NTFS, somebody
please tell me what is eating so many GIGS of my space.
