SATA Drive recognition, Install XP Pro

When I type F6 to install Raid or SCSI drive, so that XP Pro will see my SATA
drive, nothing happens, the command is ignored and the install of the OS
stalls on first copy of first OS file.

You need to configure the RAID set before,in the BIOS,then exit BIOS,a
sub-menu
appears and you create a set, then you must boot to xp cd,the text
appears,"Press
F6 for SCSI or RAID set",then youd select the proper set, install floppy.A
RAID or
SCSI drive, solo, doesnt need or use those drivers,F6 isnt neccesary, its only
when
a set is created (2 drives),and a controller exist on,or with the MB.
