SATA Block size

I have a single SATA on an A7V600. Since iit is only asingle drive it is
not in aRAID configuration but is there any way I can optimise the drive by
changing the block sizes.

Also can I shadow the BIOS on this board and if so how?

In what way 'optimise'? What file system are you using and what OS?

Also can I shadow the BIOS on this board and if so how?

Not necessary these days. Best not to shadow anything in the BIOS.
