sarrer worm removed but problems

I used the tool to remover the sasser worm. Now I have
problems shutting down and my computer is still slow.
Went to search and found the application but it will not
let me delete it. when I try, it says access denied.
Someone please let me know what to do.

You might want to try to make sure that everything was deleted by going in a checking it out for yourself.

First you can..
1. Disconnect your computer from the Internet
2. Boot in Safe Mode by pressing the F8 key during startup
3. Navigate to your Windows directory (c:\WINDOWS ) on your hard drive
4. Look for a file named AVSERVE.EXE. Delete it
Then you can..
5. Click on the Start menu and select Run
6. Type "regedit" (without quotes)
7. Navigate to the following Registry key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ru
8. In the windows to the right, look for a value called avserve. Delete it
9. Exit RegEdit
10.Reboot.

That should fix the problem but if not let me know.
