Samsung ML-2510 problem

I've reinstalled the driver and the damn thing only prints after I
reboot. Any suggestions appreciated.

Did you connect the cable ONLY after you installed the driver?

Well it is important to only connect the printer when the installer asks you to
or when the installation completes.

Turns out the problem was the USB to parallel cable(port). Switched to
USB port on printer and works fine.

Not a bad printer- I got it for $30 and found an aftermarket supplier for
the cartridge- which I think cost about $30.
