Samsung DVD-Rom SD-616E

DVD is not reading disks. Device status indicates device is working properly.
Ran troubleshooting without improvement. When putting DVD in drive, drive
sounds as if it is attempting to start up then makes growling sound and
stops. Currently getting dwwin.exe message when shutting down.
 
It could be that your DVD Drive is wearing out. The dwwin.exe message
refers to Dr. Watson MS Utility.
