Sample Music

I accidentally deleted the sample music from this Vista computer. Actually,
I deleted the sample everything. (Pictures & videos also.) Is there any
way to find it and return it or is it a lost cause? Thanks.

Not still in the Recycle Bin? Got any backups?

The only way I know of to get individual files off the Vista DVD would be to
download and install the WAIK (Windows Automated Installation Kit) which has
a tool that lets one mount .wim files. I think that's probably more work
than you'd want to do...
