Sample Databases

Hi Folks,
I am looking for some simple "customers and payments" sample
databases which I could use to learn how to build my own application. Where
would be a good place to look for such samples....Microsoft website perhaps?
I have Office 2003 and have the samples from them and they are excellent but
a little complex for my requirements.Anyone got a good url?
