same definitions keep loading

everytime i go to update my definitions i find that my
previous definitions that were loaded into my program
don't stay loaded and i have to keep updating to get the
same def.- whats up -how do i fix and why doesn't
microsoft fix this as this seems very widespread

Hello jb,

try to update several times, the Defs are not completed at your system,
becouse the servers are not updated compleet.
So after a whyle the update "stick"

Make sure that you are running the latest build of Microsoft AntiSpyware: if
your version is anything less than 1.0.615, then download build 615 by
follwoing the download links from http://www.microsoft.com/spyware/

Ensure that you empty your Temporary Internet Files before attempting to
update your definitions.
