I have recently had an icon appear in my system tray
informing me I can 'safely remove hardware'. The
hardware is refers to are USB connections to my pc. I
have not requested this from my pc, nor added anything
new to my usb ports.

Can anyone advise me on why this has happened and how to
cancel it.

I am using XP Pro.

Cheers,
