safe to disable browser service?

Hi,

Is it safe to disable the computer browser service on
workstations and machines that are not domain
controllers? You would think so, since the domain
controllers will hold the master browse list. I am trying
to get rid of these Browser and MRxSmb errors that occur
on many of my workstations and servers. Thanks.

Yes, you can disable it. I used to do it all the time in the NT4 days to
prevent master browser contention/election problems...
