Safe Mode

I got a virus "w32.pifi". When contacting Symantec, they
suggested to change settings to automacticaly start in
safe mode. Safe mode is not working and when pressing F8
key and choosing "start windows XP normally", I get the
same results. Windows start in safe mode which get stuck.
How can I get it back to start normally again?

I would contact Symantec again about how you can undo this.
(Sorry, I cannot find any information about "w32.pifi".)
 
Hi Tony,

Go to Start/Run/msconfig/Boot.ini and remove the check from this box:
/SafeBoot

/top10faqs.htm
