Safe mode

When I am in safe mode, the system does not recogonize my keyboard.
Any suggestions on fixing this problem?
The reason I need to go into safe mode is that it is the only way I can
delete unwanted emails.
For some reason that has been occuring for some time now, my emails come in,
minus the date, and I cannot delete them unless I open them first, which I do
not want to do.
Thanks

If you are using a USB keyboard,
try replacing it with a PS2 keyboard
if your PC has a PS2 connector for a keyboard.

Check your computer's BIOS to see if USB legacy support is enabled. Here's a web
site with more info.

Good luck
