have you tried F8 while starting up, just as you boot,
the screen goes through a few pages of text, quite
quickly, as soon as you see the first one try pressing
F8, this should show options page, select the mode you
want. apart from that i do not know any more sorry
Open Device Manager. (Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device
Manager) Do you see any items in the list with yellow or red symbols beside
the description?
