"Safe Mode" restart messes up my desktop. Any suggestions on

how to save the order of icons appearing on my desktop while I go through a
"safe mode" re-boot? I have a 100 icons on my screen that I am used to their
locations and it's a hassle to reorganize them.
Thank you.
 
Suggest you post to a windows group specific to your o/s
In any case I dont believe anything in win* will help you. A third party
tool may assist, you'll have to google.
PS I hope your screen is at least 21" - I couldnt cope with that No:
