Yes, I have done that several times. I have several
C:\Windows\System32\Catroot folders all done in an
attempt to determine if the crytopgraphic services are
working. I believe that they are.
 
Dude,y'know how you mentioned shutting down services
following BV's guide?

Are you positive cryptographic services are enabled?

What is the exact problem you are having with Windows
Update?

Could you please explain the problem you're seeing (simple repro steps and
the resulting behavior) and the things you've tried so far to fix the
