runtime errors

I keep getting message; microsoft visual C++ runtime library program C:\program files\internet explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE. can anybody help me with this? i am a "newbie" so have no idea!!! software is windows xp professional if that helps? thanks, nicki xx

internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be
terminated.
This has been confirmed as parasites.

The application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
It appears that I have both Java(Sun) and MS VM on the PC. After
disabling/unchecking Java(Sun) the runtime error ceased in IE6. Source:
