Suddenly, my outlook has stopped working. I can send and receive, but if I
click an e-mail to open it and read it, I receive the following message:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime Error

Program C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\Outlook.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information."

There is only one mention of this issue in the Knowledgebase, but it deals
with McAfee which I do not have. There are several people on discussion
boards with the same problem, and no solutions. I have done all the usualy
step, including removing Norton Anti-Virus, removing and re-installing
Office XP, and so on. No success. Does ANYONE have a clue why this could
be happening? Is it caused by an Office Update?

I solved the problem by upgrading Office XP with the new Service Pack 3! No
thanks to any help from Microsoft of course. I guess we are all supposed to
know that they screwed up Outlook and that the Service Pack would fix it.
Oh well.
