Since I got a new Dell running on XP, I get the error
message "Runtime Error, Debug?, Yes, No" on many of the
websites I get access to. I'm assuming the error is in
the scripts of those websites. Why am I getting these
messages and, more importantly, how can I turn them off?
They never prevent me from accessing a website but are
very annoying.

do you have some programming language installed on your machine such as C++?

No. And it only happens in Explorer (6) when I go to
certain sites. When I click "no", it just goes ahead.
