when i try to open Internet Explorer i get this error msg:
"PROGRAM:C:\PROGRAMFILES\INTERNETEXPLORER\EXPLORE.EXE
This application has requested Runtime to terminate it in and unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information"

I have EI 6 SP!

Would someone please tell me how to correct this? Thankyou

I am having the same problem. The only support I have received to this point
is, after paying them, being told to dump my profile and start over. There
has to be another way to fix it.

Hi,
The Google toolbar has been causing this problem recently. Uninstall it from
Control Panel> add/remove programs. It may work OK if you choose to
reinstall it.

This is amazing. I uninstalled the Google toolbar from the Control Panel as
you suggested and Internet Explorer loaded immediately. It hasn't worked for
over a month and after uninstalling and reinstalling it, it still didn't
work. Not one technician was able to fix the problem. I am so glad I found
your post. Thank you for your help.
