Runtime error Microsoft Visual C+++ Ouctlook 2002

When I try to open Outlook 2002, the following message
appears,

Runtime Error!
Program:C\Program~1\micros~3\Office10\Outlook.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate
in an unusual way. Please contact application's support
team for more information.

Then I hit "ok", and the whole program shuts down.

Help!
 
I've had this problem too, running Outlook 2002 on
Windows XP - not sure why it does it.
