Runtime Error Message

Hi everyone:
When I turn on my computer I get an error report saying:
Runtime Error '62' Input past end of file. I'm new to
Windows XP, and could really use some help on this one.
 
Hi,

You need to isolate what program is loading at boot that causes it.
Start/run msconfig and go to the startup tab, uncheck half the programs
(doens't matter which half). Click apply/ok and reboot - does the problem
still occur? If so, it's something that's still enabled. If not, then it's
something you disabled. Repeat the "halves" steps enabling or disabling
programs until you isolate it. Then post back with the name of the program
or check with vendor support. If these steps don't help, then try the more
