Runtime Access 2007

Why is this version so difficult to work with. Basic programming no
longer works, programming that has worked for the last ten years. Now
with 2007 runtime; code in queries, like Format([ex_date],"mmyyyy")
fails.
When I run the accdb et al with MS Access every thing works. Try and
distribute it to co-workers and wammo dead end. I went through thwhole
riga-ma-roll with regedit just to get the autoexec macro to run some
code at startup.
Security is great, but saving money by turnning off all the lights
untill no one can see is wacked.

Is it different for you or your co-workers?

If yes, perhaps you have the common problem of a missing reference?
See http://www.mvps.org/access/bugs/bugs0001.htm for details.
