runtime access 2007

I understand I can create runtime access modules. I have an access
front end that I want to distribute with one or two queries and one or
two forms. Will queries work under that scneario or not? I was
trying to avoid putting access on a bunch of pc's. Essentially they
will just be maintaining some data in tables if some changes are
needed. I have two queries I've created to simplify finding the data
and I have a couple of forms built from those queries to update (or
add) records.

I have access 2007 and apparently I can create run-time modules, but
maybe there's more to the story than meets the eye...

thanks,

Access' runtime IS "installing Access on the user's machine" (the runtime is
Access and the database engine, but with design view and some design
features disabled). Queries work fine when running under the runtime. You
don't describe whether these users are accessing a common data store or if
each includes a separate database -- that will make a difference on how you
approach the problem.

You will need to be careful in the error handling in a runtime database,
because if an error "takes it back to Microsoft Access", the user does not
have access to features they might use directly in Access to recover.

You will need to download the runtime package, but, for Office 2007, it is
free.
