Try redownloading the software or copying from the CD to the hard drive
and then installing. I have come across times where InstallShield
refuses to install programs and I eventually have to turn to a zipped
version of the program instead of an executable.
One last thought, try running the install program from the DOS Prompt in
XP. Click Start-Run-type CMD and click OK. You may need to use Help to
learn how to navigate to the location of the installation file and then
run it from there. You can also try a /? switch to see what options are
available
